Tamar NRM organized a workshop which was held at Tresca Community Centre, Exeter on 20.July2017 – a perfect sunny winters day. Graeme Stevenson was the first presenter talking about how earthworms + dung beatles work in the soil, followed by Frank Strie who presented how biochar benefits and improves the soil. After lunch the whole group of ~50 people went to Rosevears for the practical afternoon session. Frank showed how Biochar works in our veggie garden + compost and how it is applied. Then a big interested crowd followed to the paddock where Frank demonstrated how FRANK’S CHAR is made in the KON-TIKI-TAS Deep Cone Kilns. The whole day was a great success and excellent feedback was received.
